Founded in the US, GEM ARCHITECTURE INTERNATIONAL P.C. (GAI) has grown into a widely recognized professional corporation with operations in New York, Beijing, and Madrid. Prior to its establishment, the Principals have accumulated specialized experience through leading and participating in the design of numerous projects built in North America, Asia, and Europe (Refer to project list). With services ranging from architectural, interior, and landscaping design to programming and master planning, the Firm’s multi-disciplinary design team is dedicated in providing unique solution for each problem for clients in both public and private sectors. At the core of our practice is design excellence that combines both creativity and functionality, which is expressed in our diversified project experiences from high-density urban ecological developments to energy-efficient high-profile residential, hotel, office and retail facilities. Together with our efficient design management, outstanding experts, and the close cooperation with clients, the Firm’s commitment to providing designs that create uplifting spaces for people, responding to community, context and environment are important elements to the success GAI achieved in architectural design practices.

Since 2009, GAI’s China Office has been set up in Beijing, marking our introduction to Chinese market. The Beijing office, together with our operations in New York and Madrid, are united in order to provide more effective urban, architectural, interior, and landscape design services for both governmental agencies and private developers. Through years of professional practice in North America, Europe, and the other places around the world, GAI brings together a specialized team of international architects, consultants and local professionals to deliver strategic alliances, by applying advanced technologies and design ideas with better understanding of the local context of each project, and thus implementing technological supports to China’s construction and development of commercial, residential, hotel, office, culture & education facilities.

G.A.I.于2009年进入中国市场，在北京成立了“翰墨国际建筑设计顾问有限公司”， 合称 GAI翰墨国际，为政府部门及房地产开发商提供城市规划、建筑设计、室内设计、景观设计等全方位的设计服务。基于在北美、欧洲、和世界其它地区多年的从业经验, G.A.I.的以北美和欧洲为代表的境外建筑师、顾问专家、和国内的优秀建筑师团队，将先进的设计理念、规划思想及建筑技术运用于中国的建设项目，为综合商业、居住、办公、娱乐、及文教建筑工程的开发，提供更直接有效的设计与咨询服务。并能为中国的经济发展做出实质性的贡献。
